Double sided belt long enough to be wrapped once or twice around the waist, perfect for giving shape to a Viking dress, coat or tunic. Its pattern is loosely based on an arheological find dated to 834 AD. The finding place is Oseberg in the southeast part of Norway. The band was a part of grave goods in a ship burial, one of the richest ever found.
The ribbon is handmade using a medieval weaving technique known as plank weaving. High quality, durable and strong. In addition to clothing, it can also be used on furniture as a decorative edge for armchairs, sofas, headboards and other types of furniture that are upholstered and decorated with fabrics.
